Ted to Toe
Fall is just around the corner and it’s time to start pulling out the darker colors. One of my absolute favorite colors in the world is oxblood. It’s such a rich, bold color that instantly makes everything feels so much more lux and expensive. I put together this monochromatic look in an oxblood palette from Ted Baker‘s new AW17 Collection.

The first piece I fell in love with was this cashmere and satin blend sweater. The pussy bow (it’s detachable) stole my heart immediately and gave me the idea to use the color from head to toe—or from Ted to toe. I completed the look with tailored pants and sneakers. Because the color is so rich, it’s easy to look pretty dressed up and formal when you’re wearing so much of it. And because I knew I wanted to go with a more casual feel, I used a simple styling tip—cuffing the pant leg—and then paired it with a casual fashion sneakers to give the look a more comfortable feel.
Both suede and leather on one sneaker? YES, PLEASE!
The great thing about monochromatic looks is that the shades don’t have to all be exact. As long as they’re all in the same color family it will always look intentional and pulled together. Check out these Ted Baker pieces in bold colors (here and here) that would be perfect for putting together a great monochromatic look for fall.
I’m all about elevated casual cool these days and this look gives me exactly that. All of the pieces are lux and timeless, but don’t feel stuffy and boring. I still get to show off my personality and personal style. If your personal style is more on the fun and playful side, check out these floral joggers and jacquard mini skirt—both of which I’m obsessed with!
