Put Me In, Coach!
We basically skipped fall in Chicago this year and I’m still grieving and mourning that loss. It’s crazy because we skipped right from 80º weather what feels like just a week ago to the 40’s this week.
So in memorandum of the fall we never got, here is an outfit I shot recently when it was warmer and fall was still a possibility.

This look features some really great pieces. Honestly, I’m in love with all of them!
I think the first thing people probably notice about this look are the pants. I purchased them from Zara after seeing them on someone else on Instastory. As soon as I saw them, I opened up the Zara app on my phone and ordered them. Once they arrived, I had my tailor take the waist in a bit more and now they fit like a dream.
The top I purchased at AKIRA here in Chicago. Tube tops are a pain point for me for 2 reasons. Being small busted, there’s often not enough “up top” to hold a tube top up. So it has to fit really snug or else I spend all day pulling it up and that just annoys me to no end! The second reason I struggle with tube tops is because I sometimes feel self-conscious with so much of my chest bare. I start wondering if I look “too thin” and have to fight the urge to cover up. But for some reason, I didn’t feel that way in this top. I felt like it was just the right amount of skin. It also fit tight enough that it stayed put.
This bag! Can we talk about this bag?!
It was a gift from the wonderful team over at Coach as part of the launch of the new Selena Gomez collection. When it arrived, I took it out of the box and literally gasped. It’s that beautiful! You guys know I’m not much of a handbag girl. But with as gorgeous as this bag is, I’m definitely going to try to become one!
