Big ‘BANGS’ Theory

You guys know I’m all about social causes, so naturally I was super excited when the folks over at BANGS Shoes reached out to me about possibly wearing a pair of their sneakers. An idea birthed while teaching English in China, founder Hannah Davis, has created a great way to combine fashion and passion. A portion of the profits from each BANGS shoe is invested in a nonprofit partner. What’s not to love about be fashionable and socially conscious?! Each color sneaker represents a different cause. When you purchase a black pair like the ones I’m rocking, you’re helping to improve education in America.

Where does the name come from? The phonetic spelling of the Chinese character for “help” is B-A-N-G.  Totally loving my BANGS! I can’t wait to find other great ways to wear them and STAND ON ISSUES!
