What I Bought Today
Well, I didn’t technically buy it today, but it arrived today. I purchased this asymmetrical draped tank dress from ASOS a couple of days ago. It’s one of those pieces that people will either hate or love. I don’t think there’ll be much grey area.
I kept the accessorizing simple with black wedges from Fergie, black feather earrings and added a pop of color with a red leopard bangle.
I love that the dress has great movement and adds volume to my naturally thin frame without hiding my shape.
Alright…let me have it. Hate it or love it?

Hmm…that’s a tricky one. It’s easy for a dress like this to dwarf a person and make them look really short and round. Although I’m only 5’2, I have really long legs so tossing on a pair of heels easily makes me look taller and leaner than I actually am. But I say…GO FOR IT! Fashion is about taking risks. What’s the worst that can happen? You won’t like it? If that happens…move on to the next fab thing! 🙂

I love the dress on you. It’s one of my favorite styles right now. I have a silk shirt of a similar cut at the bottom, but I was wondering if you think a 5’3, size 10 frame could pull of such a dress? I really want to wear one, but I’m hesitant. Thanks and you blog is wonderful. Thank you for not holding back and opening yourself up to other women who need a dose from one who isn’t afraid.

This dress is love for me. It fits you to perfection. I saw it on the site not too long ago and though I liked it, it wasn’t love, but seeing it on you made me love it.
