Traveling Back in Time

When I was a kid, I REALLY wanted glasses. BAD! I thought they were SO cool looking! I grew up in a low income area and they would have local doctors come to our school to test our vision to see if we needed glasses. (Bc most kids’ parents couldn’t afford to take them to see an eye doctor). Each time they came I would always purposely squint and read the letters reeeeally slowly PRAYING they would give me glasses …only to find out my vision is better than 20/20. (In retrospect, they probably just thought I couldn’t read). LOL! Luckily, Warby Parker (sorta kinda) made my childhood dreams come true! They’re not prescription but I’ll take it!

I used to do the same thing to get glasses in the fifth grade but now I actually need them lol
