The Fashion Bomb Talks Celebrity Crushes, Fashion Faux Pas
I recently had the honor of being featured on The Fashion Bomb Daily as the Fashion Bombshell of the Day. The readers of The Fashion Bomb were so sweet and had such nice things to say, so I wanted to take the time to give my readers a chance to get to know the Fashion Bomb herself, Claire!
Check out my fun, quirky interview with Claire of The Fashion Bomb Daily!
BVD: Thanks so much for agreeing to answer a few interview questions for my blog. Your site and work ethic are truly amazing and I just wanted to give my readers a chance to learn some interesting facts about you. I don’t want to bore you with the typical “How long have you been blogging” and “Why do you like fashion” questions, as I’m sure you’ve been asked those a million times. So let’s get started with a simple round of “Either, Or”.
Pepsi or Coke? NYC or LA? Kim or Nicki? #TeamiPhone or #TeamBB?
FB: Coke! I’m from Atlanta. New York…I live here. Nicki. I think she’s smart and talented. With Iphone vs. Blackberry…I can’t choose. I had an Iphone in Europe that I loved, but now I’m rocking with a Blackberry.
BVD: You win the lottery…what’s the first thing you buy?
FB: I’d pay off my credit cards, save some…then buy a penthouse apartment with a view of the city.
BVD: What’s on your iPod?
FB: Anything from Lupe Fiasco, Mos Def, and Common to Gucci Mane, Soulja Boy, and Roscoe Dash. I like to say I’m a mix of southern and soul.
BVD: Who’s your celebrity crush?
FB: After I saw Jumping the Broom, Laz Alonso! I also have a thing for Hill Harper, I like smart guys.
BVD: Complete this sentence: “I’m most relaxed when I’m ______”.
FB: Writing in my journal.
BVD: If you planned a destination wedding, where would it be and why?
FB: Nice. It’s French, beautiful, and glamorous.
BVD: Take us back to when you were kid…when you were 5, what did you want to be when you grew up?
FB: I wanted to be an astronaut for a long time. I was obsessed with the planets, stars, and what was out there in the unknown.
BVD: Speaking of when you were a kid, it seems like every kid goes through a phase when they refuse to take off their favorite article of clothing. Did you an item that you wanted to wear every day?
FB: Not in particular. I did have this pair of pajama pants with multicolor rainbow dots on them that I wanted to wear to school one day. My mom wasn’t having it.
BVD: And since we’re talking about fashion, what fashion trend do you hate the most?
FB: Leggings as pants. Camel toes are not cute!
BVD: Last but not least, if your high school classmates could see you now, what do you think they would say? What would you say to them?
FB: I still talk to a lot of my high school classmates. They seem to think I’m some sort of celebrity which is strange. In high school I was very quiet and introverted….I was always called a ‘silent leader.’ I’ve come into my own a lot since, so I guess it’s refreshing. So to answer you question, I guess they would say, “Wow you’re a celebrity.” And I would say, “Don’t be silly. No I’m not.” etc.
Thanks so much for taking the time to answer a few questions for me. I hope you enjoyed them, and I look forward to sharing your responses with my readers. xoxo
