Put It In Neutral
Some days you just don’t feel like a lot of color. In fact, MOST days I don’t feel like a lot of color. I wear a lot of black, even in spring. Well, the weathers warming up and it’s been nice enough to pull out the sandals, so I figured why not bring out the lighter colors while I’m at it.
I paired this makeshift shorts suit (I’ll call it makeshift because it’s actually separates that I paired together) in a neutral color with a pair of nude sandals from my favorite online spot—Shoedazzle, of course. The striped top is one that I’ve had for years and love to wear when I want a look that’s a little more “professional.” The necklace is a gift from the folks over at Oasap. I love it because it can be dressed up or down and it still makes a statement. (You guys know I can’t get enough of statement necklaces.) Polish it off with a little plum on the lips and we’re good to go!
