NYC HOT SPOT: Soco Restaurant (Brooklyn)
I’d always heard Brooklyn was the place to be in the summer and last night Brooklyn totally lived up to that reputation. After attending the Polish Bar’s Fab 5 Celebration, we strolled next door to Soco Restaurant for a few drinks and a bite to eat.
From the moment we walked in it was a grand experience. Despite the fact that the restaurant is a new gem in Brooklyn, our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and even offered to introduce us to the owner.
The chef made sure we had a wonderful experience. All of the food on the menu was GREAT!
They even had chicken & RED VELVET waffles! It’s like a Southern girls dreeeeeam!
The cocktails were amazing as well…
I’m not a big dessert order-er. But I’m SO glad Chef Kingsley sent these out to us. The passion fruit creme brulee was to DIE for! I hope they’re still in business in 2030 so I can have them serve it at my wedding. lol
The girls were all smiles over dessert!
Special thanks to the staff and chef at Soco Restaurant. You guys are awesome!

It definitely is! The thing I liked most about the red velvet waffles is that it’s not overly sweet. It’s just the right amount of sweet. 🙂

I cannot wait to visit Soco… the Chicken & Red Velvet Waffles is enough to warrant a visit! LOL
