New Dress, Who Dis?
Ever have a dress that makes you feel like a completely different person the second you put it on? Well, that’s me with this gorgeous floral Alexis dress from Rent the Runway. I took it with me on my recent trip to Mexico and felt so magical and whimsical.

What I love most about this dress is it combines all of the things I look for when I’m shopping. It’s feminine, but not overly “girly.” It’s edgy, but still chic. And…let’s just keep it real…it draws attention to my legs. Put all those things in one garment and the chances of me walking out of the store with it are about 103.7%.
I also love the off-the-shoulder details and the halter neckline.
Earlier this year, I did an interview with Splash Magazine and they asked me what trends I was looking forward to this year. I told them that I was obsessing over all the sheer florals in dark palettes. It’s like the fashion gods heard me and sent me this dress! So, this is definitely one of those Rent the Runway pieces I’m going to be on the lookout for during their next sample sale. Because I have to have it!

Your looks are so great and fabulous! This chiffon black dress in floral print with drop shoulders is ideal for cocktail parties. I like the way you underline your femininity by adding these pink heeled sandals.

Hey beautiful! I just stumbled on your blog, and I’m so glad I did. I love this dress ( have had my eyes on it…had to look away because of cost). Yes, feminine, and edgy, yet chic. You wear it incredibly well….showing off those legs for days, and the red block heel is definitely it….love it!
