My First OPI Gel Experience
Do you know someone who no matter what’s going on in their life, their nails are always on point? The polish is never chipped and there’s a new color every couple of days? Well…yea…I’m definitely no that girl. I want to be. But I’m not.
I’m notorious for having chipped nail polish. For the longest, I would just wear black polish because it’s easy to paint over. I’ve been making an effort to not be so ratchet, but it hasn’t been easy. I’ll spend money to get my nails done and not even 30 minutes after leaving the salon, it’s chipped.
Several people have suggested that I give OPI Gel Lacquer a try. Apparently, it lasts for about 2 weeks and won’t chip. WHAT?! Count me in! So, I went to the nail salon yesterday for my devirginizing.
It takes longer to get done than regular nail polish and there weren’t a great deal of color choices, but the up side is that you don’t have to sit there and wait for it to dry. (Which is another one of my problems. I’m too impatient to sit there and let them dry, so I usually end up smudging it.)
All finished! Let’s hope this lasts. So far so good.
Do you get OPI Gel? How do you like it?
