Lace-y Sunday
Blake, here! Back at cha’ with another look from Marshalls!
These might actually be some of my favorite finds from Marshalls. But I went about finding these a tad differently this time.

Between work here in Chicago and traveling to Finland, I’ve been really busy these past few weeks. Like, “I desperately need an assistant!” busy. (Apply within) So instead of making my usual trip to Marshalls, I decided to head over to TJ Maxx’s—a sister company of Marshalls—website and shop for items online. I could save time, have the items shipped to my house and still get done all the other things I needed to get done. But as always, shopping online comes with its own set of potential hassles. You have to wait for the items to arrive and after all of that they might not fit or you may find that you don’t like them. Luckily, I didn’t run into either of those issues.
The entire look cost me just a little under $150. The Rachel Roy jumper was a $40 find and literally fits me perfectly. Like I said, I was a little nervous about whether or not it would fit, but I was so in love with it when I saw it online that I decided to take the chance. I’ve worn it twice since it arrived—once to host an event at Yellow Korner and once for girls’ night—and both time I got a ton of compliments on how well it fit.
The lace top underneath is one of those pieces that I’m probably going to hang on to for many, many years to come. It’s such a great conversation piece and I feel really pretty in it. Thirty bucks well spent!
I finished the look off with a pair of suede and leather platform sandals (and a bag in the same color palette ($24). Both from Marshalls/TJ Maxx, of course. The bag was a previous purchase that you guys have seen before, but I really thought it was such a cute compliment to the look, especially with my red lip.
Unfortunately, the jumpsuit sold out pretty quickly, but I linked some really similar (and equally cute) ones. The shoes and the top are still in stock, but you’d better move fast if you want to get your hands on them!
