The warm weather is officially gone…or at least I think it is. (You can never really be  sure here in the Bayou.) But while it’s here, why not pull out some of the cool weather essentials like faux furs & warm head wraps?!

The really killer piece in this outfit is this teal faux [back of PETA] fur vest. I love it! I feel so refined & yet totally bad ass when I’m wearing it. I mean, come on, it’s TEAL! The color alone is to die for. That said, I wanted all the attention to be on the vest so I paired it will a simple zipper front bodycon dress. Add in these super chic booties from Shoedazzle and beautiful mirrored clutch—gifted to me from the folks over at Bijuju Boutique—and you’ve got an outfit I didn’t want to take off. I felt like a million bucks! *Bonus fact: These shoes—the KATRICE’s—from Shoedazzle were one of Kim Kardashian’s November Pick of the Month. So if you’re looking to emulate the reality star’s style, these are for you!

I’ve become pretty notorious for rockin’ a turban, but it’s been a while since I’ve actually worn one. Just haven’t quite been feeling up to it. But I’m back to my old ways with this outfit. But can you believe that this “turban” is actually a cardigan?! Yep. I got a little creative and decided to repurpose an oversized cardigan that was in need of a little attention. Goes to show you, there’s more than one way to wear EVERYTHING!
