Countdown to NYC!
I know, I know! It’s been FOREVER since I blogged. But if it makes you feel any better, my life is in complete disarray right now. I’ve got 10 days before I move to NYC, so between hunting down an apartment from 600 states away, packing, working and saying my goodbye’s, I’ve barely had time to eat much less blog. But I’m back…well sorta. I’m gonna do my best to be more “in the moment”, but honestly I need about 2 more weeks before I’ll be completely settled.
But we can speed this transition phase up if any of you wanna come be my personal assistant. And by personal assistant I mean do everything for me while I sit back and cheer you on. Any takers?? Let’s not all jump at once. LOL
BUT…I have some pretty neat and exciting things in the works so stay posted!

Hey Blake my name is Rachel. I’ve noticed that you moved from the South to live in NYC. I’m about to graduate from college and stay in the South for a while to save up to go to NYC. What I would like to know is how’d your journey go as far as getting there. Did you already have a job lined up, and how’d you find and apartment within your means. I know there’s a huge difference of price ranges from the South to up north. I would just like to know what your plan was, exactly what it was that you did to get up there, and how’d you go about getting to where you are. I soon want to move to NYC.
