Ciao Bella!
So my time here in Italy is not all play. I mentioned in my previous post how I’m here taking classes for the summer. Every day—while most of you are still sound asleep in your beds (because of the time difference)—I’m sitting in class learning about the recovery and restoration of art and antiquities. (I promise it’s not as boring as it sounds.) During the 5-hour class, we get a couple of breaks to go outside, stretch our legs and grab food. During one of my breaks, I had someone snap a few pics so I could give you guys an outfit post. (P.S. I miss my photographer.)
These pants are ones that I’ve had for a few months. You might remember this print from a top I wore a while back. (The two pieces actually go together, but I prefer to break them up.) I had to get them tailored—story of my life—so that the fit was a bit more flattering. But a quick nip and tuck at the waist and wah-la…MAGIC!
The top is also a part of another 2 piece set and something you’ve also seen before. Remember this crop top and pencil skirt combo? The sandals are a newer addition to my wardrobe. My favorite people over at Shoedazzle sent these over last month. I made sure to pack them for my trip to Europe because I knew I would be doing a lot of walking. Here in Siena, everyone walks. People have cars (OMG! They’re so cute and tiny!) but the vast majority of people walk. The town’s pretty small so you can walk the whole city without a problem. (Be prepared for some crazy hills though!)
