B’s in the Trap

Burgundy. Blue. Black. Blake. Today’s outfit is all about the letter “B”. It wasn’t intentional and I didn’t notice it until I was sitting trying to think of a title for the post. Funny how things come together, huh?
But speaking of the letter “B”, these burgundy high waist jeans are another great pair from the folks over at GJG Denim. I’ve been wanting to introduce more colored denim into my wardrobe and these were a great place to start. If you remember, I was telling you guys recently about how great these jeans fit me and you know what’s crazy? These fit even better than the black ones! LIKE. A. GLOVE! I can’t explain it but I’m certainly not complaining. Whenever I put them on I always spend about 3 or 4 minutes just dancing around and admiring myself in the mirror. #nojudgmentzone Lol.
As for the other B’s, I paired my new high waist jeans with a simple black tank top and added a monogrammed Varsity jacket to edge it up. Last, I had some extra cash sitting in my VIP account over at Shoedazzle so I decided to snatch up these cobalt blue, lace embellished booties. And I’m glad I did! When I tell you these are one of the most comfortable pair of shoes I’ve ever put my feet in…I mean it! Seriously! I really wasn’t expecting it. I was prepared to suffer a little for the sake of fashion. But I’m happy to report…no suffrage necessary. I finished the look off with a blue clutch I thrifted and refurbished.

U look stunning! I absolutely love your style. I need more high waist jeans but I have trouble finding good ones because I’m pretty tall (5’10) and slim (kinda like you) so sometimes they aren’t long enough or they’re just ill-fitting. These seem pretty long on you though, how tall are you? I would love to get some

haha! It took me MOOOONTHS to find this one. I think I might have knocked over an old lady tryna get my hands on it when I finally found it. LOL!
But seriously, you could always get a really inexpensive one (like the ones linked) and then get the letter added yourself. If I hadn’t found this one, that was what I was going to do.
