Casual… or Whatever

Hey there! Long time, no post! My photographer has been really sick so I haven’t posted anything new in quite a while. Did you miss me?! I totally missed you guys! For the first time EVER, I was dying to get back in front of the camera. (Little known fact about me: I feel so awkward in front of a camera. …you don’t believe me. I know. But it’s true.) But anywho…I’m back!

Sometimes you want to look cute, but without all the extra hoopla. On days like that, I opt for something simple and casual like this oversized sweater (worn like a dress sans pants) and a cute jacket for visual detail. This sweater, sent to me from Georgia based artist, Tuttie Lu, is perfect for a casual day. It’s super comfortable and I LIVE for the “Believe in Yourself” message. (Can you believe she drew this by hand?!) You guys know I’m ALL about unapologetically being yourself and dismissing any and everybody who doesn’t like it. So this was right up my alley and all up in my lane! Confession: This actually isn’t the first time I’ve worn it. I’ve kinda been living in it. lol.

On this day, I wore it with a pair of leggings, a plaid peacoat I purchased last year via my Poshmark app (shop my closet here), my favorite 3.1 Philip Lim for Target bag and a pair of booties. Done. And done.
