Ain’t No Hollaback Girl

This ish is bananas! B-A-N-A-N-A-S!!! Those are the words that pop into my head every time I look at one of the newest additions to my growing shoe collection—the black Emiko’s from Gwen Stefani’s collection for Shoedazzle, gx by Gwen Stefani.

We all know Gwen has been changing the game since the day she stepped on the scene and this collaboration with Shoedazzle is no exception. The entire collection features bright bold colors and edgy designs. The minute I saw these ankle strap booties, I knew I had to have them. These definitely make you do a double take! I paired them with a pair of harem pants I had tucked away in the back of my closet and simple black tank. The jacket is also a new addition that I got recently courtesy of Oasap. I love it for this look because it puts me in the mind of a drum major’s jacket which…well… “cuz I ain’t no holla baaaack giiiiiirl, cuz I ain’t no holla baaack giiiiirl.” (Don’t tell me you missed the video?!) Ok, ok. Let me knock it off before I break out into full song and dance. Because I will! Lol.
